Sommario

La globalizzazione dei mercati ha imposto alle aziende degli standard qualitativi dell’output offerto sempre più elevati. Fattori come la qualità, la rapidità e le modalità di consegna sono diventati determinanti per il successo di un’impresa. Ecco dunque sorgere la necessità di implementare metodi di miglioramento (continuo), capaci di incrementare le businessperformance di una realtà economica mediante le tecniche di problem solving, rispondere alla dinamicità del mercato ed offrire un prodotto o un servizio più competitivo. È di importanza vitale soffermarsi sulle variabilità dei processi, riducendo la difettosità, contribuendo a tagliare sprechi, migliorare l’utilizzo delle risorse e dei tempi di ciclo. L’intento è nell’applicazione del Lean Six Sigma che, per quelle realtà produttive che lo hanno adottato, ha già rivoluzionato le prestazioni di efficienza in ogni area aziendale, sia a livello di produzione che di processi transazionali, creando in azienda la consapevolezza dell’importanza di un nuovo motus ad ationem e di concepimento del miglioramento continuo. L’obiettivo del lavoro è capire quali sono le basi del Lean Six Sigma, perché è importante dar voce al cliente e al processo, analizzare le questioni sinergiche sottostantitale metodologia, descrivere l’argoritmo di risoluzione DMAIC e rappresentare l’ABC, ossia un’analisi costi-benefici del Lean Six Sigma.

DYNAMIC PATHS TO (CONTINUOUS) IMPROVEMENT: THE LEAN SIX SIGMA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Abstract

The globalization of markets has imposed on companies increasingly high-quality standards of the output offered. Factors such as quality, speed and delivery methods have become decisive for the success of the company. Thus, it is necessary to implement methods of (continuous) improvement, capable to increase the business performance of an economic reality through problem-solving tools, in order to respond to the dynamism of the market and offer a more competitive product/service. Focusing on process variability, it is possible to reduce defectiveness, help cut waste, improve resource use and cycle times. The intent is in the application of Lean Six Sigma that, for those production companies that have adopted it, has already revolutionized efficiency performance in any area of the company, both in terms of production and transactional processes, creating a company awareness of the importance of a new "motus ad ationem" ("movement towards action") and conception of continuous improvement. The aim of this paper is to highlight the basic of Lean Six Sigma, why it is important to give a voice to the client and to the process, analyze the synergistic issues underlying this methodology, describe the algorithm of DMAIC and represent the ABC, a cost-benefit analysis of Lean Six Sigma.
